Really really enjoyed this. Wildly original in a world of boring repetitive bullshit cinema (save a few possible exceptions). I have not seen a film so unapologetically wacky in a long time. Bong Joon Ho is brilliant, but we all knew that. Mark Ruffalo as Space Trump was a total highlight, as was all the sauce. Pattinson shines! Irreverent, riotous, bleak, freaky and completely surreal. This is not perfect but it is quite fabulous, and of course it is flawed…

William Hurt’s Nick carries an incredible and immense quiet weight with him all the way through this. Soundtrack is also totally unbeatable. This one will stick with me for a very long time. Could’ve done with a little more of something, I don’t know what, but something.

I fucking love this movie. This feels like a warm bath, then the bath gets colder and the water stings your skin and you start to shiver. So then you put the tap back on and the water gets warmer and it feels like a hug. The water is hot and welcoming and you close your eyes, tilt your head back and smile. I love this movie
