as someone who has quite literally never read anything about or related to Little Women, including the book itself, i really enjoyed this movie. watching the sisters struggle, adapt and grow was a genuine treat.
when you throw a cadre of actors as talented as the ones Gerwig assembles here, it's hard not to be captivated by their performances. Saorise Ronan and Florence Pugh in particular put in some expectedly convincing and mesmerizing work.
