  incredibly comforting somehow, and I really liked Toni Colette! also loved: Robert Pattinson's weird accents, the goofy furry monsters, the nerdy scientists. what really got me was that everything is really funny with a hint of darkness lurking beneath--the ethical dilemmas of cloning, the sacrifice that it took to avert war, the hubris and general disregard of the scientists. the throughline here was the love between two people, and idk I found it really hopeful and heartening.
