    A tense watch! But there’s actually lot of hope weaved through it. Fingers crossed for Iran’s women-led revolutionary movement. 
    This film helped me to truly connect with the gravity of an issue I was merely cognisant of - the female experience in Iran.

    I can’t believe how well made the film is given the circumstances. The filmmaker and main cast understandably fled Iran after the making of this drama which was filmed, remarkably, in Iran itself, in secrecy, yet seemingly cut no corners in its production.

    Important film. Sometimes you need to have your values re-affirmed. And this film does it brilliantly… Fuck me - hyper capitalism is depressing isn’t it? Sometimes it feels like little sweet treats are all we have to comfort us in an unforgiving world.
