  Couple of scenes really stood out but the entire deconstructed timeline was meh.

  Idk their individual performances were great but something about them together didn’t click. Andrew Garfield following her like a puppy dog, or Florence just being her stunning self. But combined the characters didn’t really compliment each other.

  Literally a film about daddy issues. Idk if it’s my lack of understanding of the female mind or just the back forth in her outlook towards the L guy being illogical / strange / not remotely close to being real.

  Also pls bro no one introduces themselves as a programmer and gives the dumbest explanation about Booleans.

  Definitely could’ve ended earlier.

  Interesting to see a perspective on upper middle class life in Taipei in 1985.

  Spiralling bad! Some great visuals across the city, wish some of the scenes would just sit for a while longer. Like the one where chin is on the rooftop at night with the bright LEDs contrasting to make the people look like silhouettes in the moment.

  First time watching experience was definitely better, didn’t get the same “ah adolescent romance” vibes.

  Heath ledger spanking the cop will always be my favourite shot in the film.
