  Not Bong at his absolute best like with Parasite, but still such a fun time and I love how unsubtle the social commentary was, like it really beats you over the head with it lmao. Also Robert Pattison modeling his voice for Mickey 17 on Steve Buscemi in Fargo is absolutely perfect

Not all of it works and I found it meandering at times without a clear idea of what to do with some of its characters (Sidney and Fay Zhu are so interesting but are very underserved) but when it hits, oh it really hits.   a warm hug of a film. Didn’t expect to get as emotional as I did. For maisy Stella’s first movie, she did a phenomenal job as the lead, so fun to see maisy, Aubrey, and director megan park at the Q and A afterward! I can see myself relating to this movie hard on future rewatches.

  fucking loved the editing in this. I was loving it the whole way through but the last half hour was absolutely wild and I had a smile on my face the whole time. Need to see a triple feature with A Different Man, The Substance, and Kronk’s new groove
