I'm not brave. I just wasn't in the mood to be a disappointment to everybody.
I quite enjoyed the way this movie is framed and I think that is a huge factor to why I like Anderson's films, along with his odd and silly humor. That being said I think that the painter's story is the best here with the other two not being bad just not as good as the painter.

Why did I never watch this growing up? This movie is so good in so many ways, one highlight I will say is the effects. WOW for being from 2003 the effects in this movie hold up surprisingly well. I really like how the fights are over the top and flashy and almost like a dance. This movie inspires and thrills the little kid in me who just likes cool Pirate stuff.
We've met before, haven't we.
