  Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016

  Snyder is on a whole other level in his direction here, many of the compositions here are downright gorgeous and could fit right into an art gallery. Contains the same ups and downs I had with Man of Steel. I cheer whenever we're given some of the most thematically interesting storytelling within super hero films, and I am very upset when the Goyerisms peak their head in to ruin everything. Also, I wish I could enjoy Jesse Eisenberg's weird Elon Musk rendition of Lex Luthor, but his performance takes away from multiple great sequences in this film.

  Frustrating to no end, heads many thematically interesting ideas regarding Superman and Snyder's fantastic direction. On the other hand, it boasts downright atrocious Goyerisms within the script that are snooze-worthy and the third act betrays many of the themes.
