A bittersweet journey.
One of my favourite contenders for the Best Picture nomination at the Oscars this year. It gave me a look into a new perspective and executed it well by a good narrative, and excellent characterisation. Riz Ahmed and Paul Raci especially for me did an excellent job of embodying their characters.

Once Upon a Time in America 1984
I loved this film. I was pleased to discover that its length was handled very well, and everything in it felt necessary and drove the plot forward in interesting ways. Leone's personality shines through as well in this, and its structure worked well going backwards and forwards in time to reveal specific things. The music as well was stunning, and made the scenes it accented much more impactful and emotional.
