Rains Over Babel 2025
An absolute roller coaster of mythic proportions. Grapples everything from death - the fear of it and the escorting of souls to the afterlife- to queer identity. I wish I had more knowledge on some of the media/legends/cultures it pulled from, I think it would have deepened my appreciation for this movie. I teared up multiple times and absolutely loved the ending.
