Baby Invasion 2024
Year 2024 levels fucked up and terrifying. Whether this is a film or a game or something beyond, this is certainly a horror show you can dance your balls off to. If there's one thing Korine knows well to do (besides the music apparently), it's showing the most dilapidated aspects of a certain time and space using the same lens and perspective instead of merely commenting on it (leaving that to those who love to do so the most - the public).
This also outdoes pro wrestling entertainment by having the babyfaces also be the heels, at the same time.

Looking for an Angel 1999
Beer, conversation, sex, trains, blue skies. Sounds like paradise. Sounds like a dream.
Some exceptional music direction in this. Made me love it more than i would have. Used sparsely, it perfectly resembles the movie both in concept and look, enhancing both mood and enjoyment. Win-win.
For lovers of Lamp, Fishmans, Boards of Canada, or any of that good ass j-rock from the time.

His Motorbike, Her Island 1986
The best motorbike ad of all time.
Brings together 60s 70s and 80s Japan all in one film seamlessly; through the use of colour (to indicate a tonal/stylistic shift), classic Japanese melancholy, the music (different for each character), and amping both the hotness, and the coolness to the max. This is an ode to Kawasaki motorcycling which started in 1963.
Only Kawasaki will get you the girl, the girl get you to her island, and she ride your bike like a fucking pro.
