  Having been a student of Burroughs’ life and work since I was a teen when he was still with us the two things that strike me most about this picture are:

  1) a caretaker of Burroughs’ childhood home in St Louis was still alive, in touch with Burroughs, and willing to be interviewed in 1983

  I personally believe the secret to enjoying sequels is to not have seen the previous films recently. And I will admit it’s been ~22 months since I saw the original Beetlejuice, but i imagine even the fools who watched it the night before in preparation would love this movie because it’s a lot of fun
