  some really beautiful shots that show what a great eye Vinterberg has always had (especially the ones of Lars running in front of the car and then drinking on the roof of it), and no wasted scenes or moments. quiet but incredibly moving.

  really impressive film that puts its cheerful and resolutely upbeat protagonist in some horrible situations and keeps those moments emotionally real without compromising the central parts of her character. the final confrontation between Poppy and Scott is very well done, and difficult to watch.
