  I’m so sorry but if some guy from my childhood went on the professional Facebook page of my dad’s film asking for me outta the blue, and I accidentally stumbled upon it, my first instinct would NOT be to reach out to him. Am I alone in this??? 🤔😭

  Powerful & tender. The students are both full of charming high school youthfulness and wise beyond their years. The storytelling is done carefully and intimately - you can tell that the filmmakers formed a special trust and bond with the students and it comes across on screen. All of that interwoven with big questions about the American education system, what academic success means, and what role socioeconomics play.
