Sana's final line, in which she says that if she were to give the gun back to her father nothing would change, was a wonderfully simple and elegant way to put words to the thoughts and feelings the film elicited during its final scenes. I was gripped to the end and with this line I felt an immense resolve. An incredible film and one I am very grateful to have seen.

Complete fever dream insanity, some of the most cracked pseudo-intellectual jibber jabber I’ve seen, plainly pro-elitist but undeniably optimistic, a once in a lifetime disaster and I love it, this is what we want

I quite liked the film but I was left asking why seemingly all Australian dramas steamroll at one emotional level
