While Black Bag offers a handful of intriguing character dynamics and suspenseful moments, it lacks in authenticity, originality & a sense of genuine investment in the plot. Most of the integral narrative moments are revealed through drawn out scenes of exposition which felt lazy and made it appear more convoluted than it was. It made me care less about the whole damn thing. It's not bad but not necessarily recommendable.

On the surface, Novocaine had forgettable and unfunny movie written all over it. But shockingly, it’s quite the opposite.
