First act. Two main characters clash and then bond.
Second act. All goes wrong. The montages and tension roll and rise.
Third act. Paint by numbers resolution of guilt, redemption and salvation.
Based on real world experiences and a decent crack at telling that untold reality.

part romantic Hallmark schmaltz
so a little bit clanky,
but well carried by the core actors.
as midweek movie fillers that don't require much thinking or investment in effort - this fits the bill.
Thomas the Tank Engine on speed, set on the island of Sodor (aka the world) covered in snow.
Just like the actual Thomas the Tank Engine stories, this needed more engines to make it interesting. Percy, Toby and maybe James would have made it more enjoyable. Not Gordon though, because he's a prat.
