  My heart is in pieces. When your time comes, you're going to be haunted by the words you didn't say. Some line deliveries near the start felt stiff and awkward, but it dawned on me that yes that's the point. Being one of the first people ever to have to carry that heavy weight would paralyze anyone. Cory Michael Smith's performance of a man unprepared to say goodbye touches the soul.

  ̶M̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶fucker bored me to literal tears. Every joke fell flat. I've never seen anything so unapologetically uninterested in being ANYTHING apart from being Bri'ish, I just don't know what the Academy were thinking.

  Albert Finney and Susannah York weren't half bad in terms of performance, I suppose.

  Amazingly acted across the board but what in the holy HELL did I just watch?

  The most unconventional family drama I've seen from the Philippines, surpassing even Kisapmata or Karnal. 1.5 hours of literal insanity that ultimately begs the question, who stole what from whom? Did it all have to go down the way it did?
