FINALLY a 90 minute movie not buried on Netflix. FINALLY a studio put something on the big screen with big actors that isn't "IP". FINALLY a tight script, efficient filmmaking, and a 3rd act that isn't dragged out to death.

Reminded me the most of Okja though it's still its own movie. Hints of Host and Snowpiercer. Tonally this is Bong back to basics and ultimately I think it works because it has 90% of the pieces. The music sounds like Nicholas Britell and I enjoyed the set design. The one issue I had was ruffalo's performance.
Beyond the Uber-Capitalist critique of "billionaires in space" (which is deserved) I think what this movie explores in terms of identity and empathy…

Is this trying to say that it's parents to be blamed for killers? Or are we supposed to empathize with them? Or just exploring the humanity of the parents on both sides of the tragedy?
Well executed and acted and written, probably would be just as fine as a play.
I mean I laughed a few times but this is just sloppy movie from start to finish. Even if you love gaffigan you won’t see this movie more than once.
