Evil Dead Rise 2023
what a fun, breathtaking, terrifying, hilarious entry to the Evil Dead franchise! i enjoyed this movie a lot, i see the replay value already. the opening is absolutely incredible & has one of the best title cards i’ve ever seen put to film! the cast is top notch across the broad, i instantly fell in love with their chemistry & how they played off of one another. the scares, effects, and gore were all well executed & put together as well. over all a welcomed edition to the franchise that expands upon the lore & paves the way for future entries :)

my roommate recommended this to me and i was so surprised by how much i loved this hilarious & heartfelt film. the cast alone was enough to peak my interest, it’s a STACKED one too! paul rudd, courtney love, christina ricci, kate hudson, ben AND casey affleck! i was SOLD! i highly recommend if you want a fun, lighthearted romantic comedy :)

“WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT MOVIES?!”
this was a complete and total blast for me, from beginning to end! the kills are nasty and sometimes almost mean spirted (not a bad thing), the intensity is ratcheted up to 1000, the humor is so well placed and didn’t miss for me. i loved this movie and i can’t wait to watch it again & again!
