I’m almost upset with myself that I decided to watch this in March instead of October.

I can’t get over Florence Schauffler and her performance as Haggis the Witch. She brought such an eerie presence to the film!

Admittedly, this was yet another film I never had much of a desire to see. I happen to come across the 4K Steelbook and I just had to have it with that killer artwork on the cover. Happy to report, it did not disappoint! 🎃

Jesus, was this film made in 1988 or 2025?! I don’t think a film could depict the life and times of this world right now as well as this did! 😂

I can’t believe I had never seen this, what a blast! 😎 Keith David has always been a fun actor to watch, and Roddy Piper was hilarious! I had heard that infamous bubblegum and kickass line before but never knew where it came from…now I know! 🕶️

Had the absolute pleasure tonight of seeing this on the big screen, and on 16mm film none the less. 📽️

I’ve seen bits a pieces of this over the years naturally, but never in full. So this was pretty special. Thank you Wealthy Theatre and Grand Rapids Film Society.

The theatre SOLD OUT on top of that. A 1922 German silent film on vampires sold out in 2024. There’s hope for humanity yet! 🧛🏻‍♂️

Truly a one of a kind human being, artist and visionary!

Trying to dive in to the mansions of Lynch’s mind, is something few in this world would ever be capable of reaching.

What an incredibly moving film/documentary! Had the absolute pleasure of viewing this on the big screen tonight. Thank you Grand Rapids Film Society and Wealthy Theatre for sharing this.
