  Foundational media for my taste but also incredible in its own right. The fight choreo alone blows anything made in the last ten years out of the water. And the SETS man. Somehow always longer than I remember, even though I saw this for the first time at age 4, so in my mind it may as well be 7 hours long.

  Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace 1999

  This movie gets an extra star because podracing is a really fun and intense set piece but this movie was infinitely worse than I remember and, more importantly, way more annoying. Every 15 seconds there’s a new, horrible racist caricature. A slog.
