Director clearly gets the Evil dead vibe, fresh location with a good concept, ruined by an extended trailer style of editing ruining any atmosphere or dread, the campiness was there but not realized. Cinematography, sound design and acting, mainly to the lead deadite had everything going for it. But got ruined with a rushed feel of keep it short and sweet without letting things either go super campy and fun or super atmospheric and scary. The writing tried to keep it clever and fun but stumbled over itself.
