On the rewatch, what makes it great is the world building which is weird to say for a mob movie. through the narration by Ray Liotta. You’re told all these names, what the mob world is like.
it doesn’t feel like it’s a small. you feel like you’re really in it. So many great quotes and Martin Scorsese put in music in here before they became obvious needle drops probably because of this movie so he gets a pass.
