This group of students preferred the book better... As a whole anyway. Rather unusual! But overall everyone enjoyed the story.... So it was fun in that sense.

This film is honestly scary.
This film does so many things right. The sound is great, allowing the viewer to always have a sense of what Ruben hears and a general person would hear at any given moment. Speaking of Ruben, Ahmed is great here. Very subtle and effective, profound at times. That poor donut.🍩 I also think Cooke does a great job when she is around too.
Overall, it doesn't meander, has great acting, and superb sound design. Although, I still question why exactly Ruben didn't make a bigger deal about losing drumming. It seems like something that could have been a focus.
