  I really didn’t like the visual presentation and color grading of this film. And though it’s obviously trying really hard, it never even comes close to the imagination and whimsy of the original movie. 

  Some good songs and choreography. Ariana Grande kills it in this role.

  Willem Dafoe and Gene Hackman are two of the best to ever do it. 

  There’s plenty about this movie’s presentation of this story worthy of critique from the modern pov (mainly that the Black characters are confined to the background) but just judging its merits as a film it is well-done.
