    Missing

    ★★★★

From the creative minds behind Searching comes an equally gripping sequel that follows a similar formula but also flips the script. Combining lightning fast pacing with a new twist at every turn, the nearly two hour runtime flies by and Missing will keep you guessing until the final moments. It's really impressive how a well-rounded story could be told entirely from a screen and I look forward to seeing more.

    ★★★★

This is the first movie I've seen from Predator franchise and I'm impressed. Beautifully shot and brimming with slick action and gruesome kills, Prey wastes no time in plunging the audience straight into the story and flows smoothly through the plot while building tension and suspense. Some questionable CGI did take me out from certain scenes, but luckily the fast-paced plot and action sequences would quickly pulled me back in.

Overall just a great film and I can't believe I've been putting off this franchise for all this time. Will definitely be watching other installments soon!

Overall a surprisingly funny film with a killer cast and stellar performances. May be a good film to put on while waiting for your UberEats cheeseburgers.

  • Scream

    Scream

    ★★★½

Scream 5 brings it back to the basics and stands as a solid entry in the franchise. Closely mirroring the original, this brings the same self-awareness and playfulness of its predecessors, while simultaneously cranking up the gore and raising stakes as no one, new or familiar characters, seems to be safe in this latest installment.

As with most other Scream films, the reveal did feel relatively predictable, but the motivations do make sense and setting the final act in the…
