The movie isn’t perfect and I had a few issues with its pacing and tonal shifts, in particular the second half.
But the fact that this movie exists and was able to be distributed internationally is so important and worth a watch!
The inclusion of real videos and events weaved into scenes was a very brave choice considering the amount of censorship exercised by the Iranian government, and I felt it made for many powerful beats in the film.
