The Fog 1980
Hit less and less for me as movie went on. The whole radio angle felt silly. Soundscape was noisy but didn't provide the tension and atmosphere I've gotten from other Carpenter movies. Father Malone and the kid were both pretty cheesy performances. Fog creatures were lame.

Made in Abyss 2017
While series is engaging from the start the meat of the story is quite back heavy. Art is generally great, the character designs grew on me but weren't my favorite. Beautiful environments and backgrounds. Creatures/monsters and the effects of battles were varied and at times, disturbing. Final episode is strongest even if ultimate resolution felt underwhelming.

Fist of Fury 1972
Despite being rather straightforward, found the revenge plot interesting enough, but certain exposition scenes could've definitely been cut down in length.
Audio/subtitle sync is pretty terrible throughout.
Fights ranged from okay to good, but nothing spectacular for me. Too many extraordinarily strong punches and impossible scenarios.
I enjoyed the sets even though a lot of the background of the scenes still showed their fakeness through the screen.

The Great Muppet Caper 1981
One of my favorite cameos happens in this movie with a detective on a bench and made the whole watch worth it. Otherwise while I enjoyed the movie I thought it had too many regular musical interludes instead of more fun/wacky ones. Plot is interesting but hinges more around a newsroom then a heist like I was expecting, not bad just different. Made me smile a number of times
