Caramel Corn Pops Recipe

Caramel Corn Pops Recipe These are a fun treat that I made with my mom when I was growing up.  This was one of (if not) the first thing I made without my mother's supervision.  They are sweet and crunchy--perfect appetizer or treat for a party. Ingredients: 1/2 Cup Butter 1 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Corn Syrup 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 4 Cups Corn Pops Corn Pops are made of cornmeal and are pretty bland on their own.  They need butter and sugar. Mix the butter, sugar and syrup in saucepan.  Cook until bubbly around the edges, but not a full boil.  Then remove from heat and add the baking soda.  Stir in well. Put the corn pops in a bowl and pour the sugar mixture over the top of them. Stir them in so each pop is coated. Then place the pops on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 250* for 45 minutes, stirring every ten minutes. Let them cool and enjoy!  They are much better than caramel popcorn because nothing gets stuck in yo...

Peppermint Popcorn Munch!

Peppermint Popcorn Munch!  I air popped a bunch of popcorn...put it on a tray and crushed up a bunch of candy canes and sprinkled them on top...  Then take some melted chocolate and drizzled it over the top  Let it cool...and it will clump up the popcorn, candy canes  and chocolate into yummy bite size pieces!  I did it with green too...because the 6 year old is allergic to chocolate! It's a bit slime like...but the sprinkles help.  Love the chocolate and peppermint combo! Yummy! Don't you love the peppermint/chocolate combination this time of year!? Collin Baker Patchwork Bean Bag Warmer--6th Day of Doctor Who!

Patchwork Bean Bag Warmer...and it looks like...? On the 6th Day of Doctor Who, my true love gave to me... Collin Baker!  Super memorable with his outfit of many colors! The mismatched fabric, the patchwork, the colors! The pants! As a kid, I remember really liking his clothes! So I decided to make a bean bag warmer for cold winter days. I used plaid and sort of gingham flannel...with some blue and white polka dot cotton. I had all this on hand, can you believe it? Also, about 2 cups of feed corn. I just cut some random pieces. I flipped the blue flannel over and used it like a white shirt. I just folded the edges of the plaid over to look like lapels. And then just top stitched the flannel in place. Right onto the white side of the flannel. You can get as precise as you want...as you can see,  I am no perfectionist! Repeat for the other lapel. Great!  Now sew on some other pieces of colorful cloth! If I had ...
