The worst part was peeling the vinyl off the walls.  Don't put vinyl on your walls!  I read everything I could about removing it carefully.  We used a blow dryer and heated up the vinyl before peeling it off.  This worked on SOME ...

Bathroom Reveal!

Bathroom Reveal! This was the bathroom when we bought the house. Notice the green. The walls are green. The ceiling is green. The curtain is green. The vanity is green. Not a super relaxing room with the bright glow of green! Not great for putting on make-up too! On the second day we had the house, I taped off all the green. Taped around the tile and the mirrors. Thankfully the tile was already done and the bathroom was pretty updated, just the color needed tweaking.  I bagged off the lights and taped around the bases. And painted everything light gray, just like the living room! Then let it dry and removed the tape and the bags.  And here it sat for months. I didn't even paint the vanity yet.  But the ceiling and the walls look terrific!  Then I used some Folk Art Home Decor Chalk Paint in gray I had my daughter use a brush and paint the vanity. Opening the doors slightly to keep them from sticking. The chalk paint dries sup...

Ornate Key Plate Vinyl!

Ornate Key Plate Vinyl! I love vinyl.  There is so much you can do with it! I got this vinyl from Expressions Vinyl.  It is high quality, has great adhesion and is glittery! This is a fun way to spruce up the doors in your home!  First, right click to save off, personal use only.  I had my Silhouette Cameo cut it out of Sparkly coral vinyl!  Once it's cut, use the hook tool to weed out the excess pieces.  I like weeding.  Then add transfer tape on top of the design.  I cut it in half and placed half on the top part of the door knob. I ended up cutting off some of the edges.  Then pressed it down firmly and removed the transfer tape carefully.  Looks fabulous and adds just a fun and fancy touch to a plain door! Great for a little girl room! Check out #expressionsvinyl for more great ideas! And their project ideas here This post published on Doodlecraft first
