What A Great Privilege!: The Marcum Family/Ministry News

Dear Friends & Family,
Just recently we learned that missions leaders who have been studying the rise of 24/7 prayer over
the past 30 years have found that in 1985 there were about 25 known ministries worldwide that were
operating a 24-hr prayer ministry for their region/country/city. That number has grown now to over
10,000! In so many places, incense is rising and the Bride is crying out in unison with the Spirit,
Come, Lord Jesus! This is one of the signs that our Lord is returning soon, and His church is
obediently responding to His most often repeated instruction to us regarding the time of His return
Watch and Pray. Thank you for partnering with our family so we can keep the fires of night & day
prayer burning bright here in the heartland of our nation! - Love, The Marcums
WE LOVE THESE YOUNG PEOPLE!!! We look forward to seeing some of them next
year! And those who are graduating, we will miss you go and be who God called you to be!

I have had a lot of fun recently during some of my Safe Families work hours! Our director, Danny Lima, and his wife
Jessica made a trip to Brazil last month to help train a group of musicians and prayer warriors there on starting a house of
prayer in their church. Dannys heritage is Brazilian and though he has lived his life in the USA, he has a true pastors heart
for the people of Brazil. He began to build his proficiency in Portuguese last year in preparation to join a large mission team
to spend 6 weeks in Brazil before and during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. This effort was known as Liberdade which
translates as Freedom and it focused on the rescue of women and children trapped in human trafficking. Watch a stirring
video about the Liberdade outreach at: www.exoduscry.com/liberdade/ (scroll down to video under Stories from the Field).
The fun I had was that I was part of a team of ladies that took turns caring for the Lima children while their parents
were gone. I stayed at their house for three days and it brought back many memories of times gone by with 5 little
munchkins running around! We had a great time together, but the most fun thing we did was go to the zoo! It was our first
trip there this year and I recruited some help from Jessianna, Joy and Joshua. The Limas trip to Brazil was also for Safe
Families. You might remember me mentioning that we were recently able to meet with Dave Anderson, the founder of Safe
Families for Children. At that meeting, he asked Danny to help develop a program for Safe Families to work in Brazil. So,
part of this most recent trip was dedicated to that purpose. There are millions of families around the world in crisis, and
there are millions of churches around the world ready to help those families. We want to be a part of helping and facilitating
the joining of those two realities! Pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified (2 Thess. 3:1).
FINAL WORD: Those looking for part 2 of the article from last month, sorry we ran out of room this time! Hope to
print it in next months newsletter. Thanks again everyone for staying in touch and for your partnership, it means so
much! We would appreciate prayers as we will be leaving for a 2-week trip to Indiana, Kentucky, and the Carolinas,
on May 20-June 4. Until next time, bless you all, were praying for you!
