4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory
Daily preliminaries are made (Prayer, Food for The Thought).
Activity
The teacher uses guide questions for learners to recall the features and characteristics
8 minutes of a graph and a table. She may show sample graphs and tables to gather active
responses.
4.2 Activity Now the teacher tells the class that she will be showing them a table or graph
showcasing the parts of a simple paragraph. For a minute, she will allow them to study
5 minutes the contents.
4.3 Analysis (Think-Pair-Share)

For 5 minutes, learners find a pair then think and share of the possible answers of the
8 minutes guide questions given by the teacher. These are questions pertaining to the parts of a
simple paragraph.They should be ready for sharing later.
4.4 Abstraction A discussion on the guide questions follows. Learners are encouraged to share
reponses on the given questions. The teacher then summarizes their ideas and learners
5 minutes answer the essential question: How do table and graph aid in understanding a
concept?
4.5 Application (Group Activity)
To crystalize learning, learners are grouped with 5 members and construct a single
15 minutes paragraph citing the contents of the graph presented. They will work for this in 10
minutes. Cooperation is encouraged.
4.6 Assessment Anlysis of Learners' A representative from the group share their work before the
12 minutes Products class. They will be graded with a specific criteria.
4.7 Assignment Reinforcing / Teacher provides the class another table or graph by which they
strengthening the will write a 5 sentence-paragraph about its content. The same
4 minutes day’s lesson criteria is applied in checking.
4.8 Concluding Activity
A student is asked to cite his/her learning from the day's activity.
