SSY3013 ENVIRONMENT AND INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES

Semester 1, 2021/22

ASSIGNMENT 2
Due date: to be announced

Topic 1

the protection and sustainability of flora and fauna in specific settings. The issue,
however, is when such conservation programs affect the lives of indigenous
communities in those same settings. Discuss this statement by providing specific
referenced examples.

Topic 2
Grassroots movements may not necessarily have the same motives as the international

environmental issues. Discuss your arguments by providing specific examples on the core
differences of their motives.
