    Note:

    i) Candidates who have completed Direct Ph.D. after the Bachelor’s Degree from Institutes of

    Professor.

    ii) If a Class/ Division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered
    as equivalent to First Class/ Division. If a Grade Point System of 10.0 scale is adopted, the
    CGPA will be converted into its equivalent percentage of marks as indicated below:
    6.25 = 55%, 6.75 = 60%, 7.25 = 65%, 7.75 = 70% and 8.25 = 75%.

    Desirable Experience (Common for all the Branches):


     Minimum two years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience in a reputed
    organization after acquiring the Master’s Degree (Except S.No.1)
     Integration of Information Technology in the specific area of specialization
     Publications in SCI Journals, Books, Patents Granted, Technical Reports, etc.
     Guided the Project Works of PG students/ Research (Ph.D.) scholars
     Handling of International/ National Research Projects as Principal Investigator or Co-
    Investigator
     Conduct of Training Programmes/ Seminars/ Workshops for the Faculty/ Staff/
    Professionals/ Students
     Experience in Curriculum Design/ Development/ Revision
     Development of Instructional Materials and Media

    6. Job Description (Common for all the Branches):


     To remain updated in terms of knowledge, information and competencies with regard to
    latest innovations and advances in relevant discipline/ field and have the required aptitude
    and ability to judiciously apply the same in training of personnel in technical education
    system.
     To organize/ co-ordinate the relevant short-term and long-term training programmes,
    workshops and other activities for the International and National clients through various
    modes.
     To develop Instructional Materials and Media in relevant disciplines and train Technical
    Teachers.
     To organize academic/ laboratory sessions for the improvement of knowledge and skills of
    the Technical Teachers.
     To apply the principles of instruction in educational processes and develop discipline/ inter-
    disciplinary projects suitable to Technical Institutions.
     To provide research inputs for the development of Instructional Design and Delivery
    Systems and Outcome Based Education.
     To function as an effective team member of interdisciplinary programmes and
    multifunctional working groups for various activities assigned by the Department/ Institute
    from time-to-time.
     To update and maintain (i) the laboratory equipment, facilities and the stocks of the
    Department; (ii) the corporate environment in the Institute; and (iii) the knowledge
    networking among various Institutions.
     To assist the Head of the Department in efficient organization of the short-term and long-
    term programmes, workshops and other departmental activities.
     To carry out any other work that may be assigned by the Director towards the fulfilment of
    the vision of the Institute. For the larger interest of the Institute, the candidate may be
    transferred to any of the Extension Centres of the Institute located at Bengaluru,
    Hyderabad, Kalamassery and Vijayawada.
