Both t and Facebook are not supposed to be your reliable source of in4.

It's
obviously that the dramatic development of social medias has changed
patterns of human communication and entertainment. However, it should not
change your source of information because both platforms are places where
people from every corner of the world gather and share information. In other
words, while truths are rarely spoken, rumours, fake news, misinformation and
disinformation could be easily found on these platforms. According to
ByteDance's data – Tiktok's parent company in China, the application has 1.39
billion users are monthly active users (MAUs), and Facebook's data also has
reported its 2.9 billion MAUs in 2022. Consequently, these flatforms could be
good at entertaining users by providing them with an online environment
which give them the feeling of connecting and engaging. On the other hand,
there is no point that what people are talking about the most is likely the truth.
It is confusing to be exposed to information that is trending, spreading
intentitonally or by accident without legally reliable sources. The development
of web 2.0 and the introdution of social media allowed for a removal of gate
keepers to information, which previously were TV channels, radio, and the
press (government). As a result, sorting through the vast amount of
information created and shared online is challenging even for experts.
Another similarity between t and fb is the marketing strategy. According to
ByteDance, Tiktok has rapidly increased its revenue generation. In 2021, it
generated 4,6 bil dollars, a 142% increase year-on-year, while Facebook
generated 117,929 million dollars. They both significantly benefits from users's
engagement. They share in common they way they change user's shopping
habits and boost engagement in online activities. Particularly, influencers are
undeniably the most effective and productive marketing stragetic. Influencers
on Tiktok and Facebook are who we usually indentify as Hot Titkokers and Hot
Facebooker. Users dedicate most of their time follow their latest videos or
posts on familiar purpose such as dramas and products' review. Most users
find it convenient and easy to have an overview on products which they have
their eyes on. In reality, these influencers are mostly unofficial ambassadors of
some certain brands that sponsor their every videos and products they use
without us acknowledge.
Generally, compared to Tiktok users, Facebook users feel little engagement.
Nevertheless, most of the users admit that Tiktok and Facebook are the social
medias that they likely to use to feel connected to others by sharing lifestyle,
routine, stories or opinions. The most popular hashtag on Tiktok is #foryou
with over trillions mentions. Inviduals are satisfied to suffer these two daily
because of the entertaining environment they effortly provide. We
occasionally see negative posts but the joy and satisfaction of seeing our
friends or knowing what is people in the world is up to is outweight. This is an
explaination why inviduals still prefer Tiktok and Facebook than others like
Twitter – basically for politics purposes.
Pros and cons of tiktok.
Social networks are remarkably draining your productivity: to begin with. There
is no exception, including Tiktok. The biggest concern over this China-owned
application is its time-consuming. The unrestricted usage of Tiktok negatively
impacts your studies and lifetyle if you do not put a limit to the amount of time
you are going to spend on scrolling it. Due to the fact that the 15-60 second
Tiktok videos inviduals post align well with our attention spans and desire for
small bites of entertaining content, it is gradually become addictive to you, you
prefer entertaining objects that is shorter and faster. As Titkok's parent
company reported, Tiktok users spend an everage of 45.8 minutes per day on
the app and nine of out ten users use the app multiple times daily.
Consequently, it is undoubtedly that Tiktok has stolen our leisure time in
silent, little by little everyday. In stead of constantly scrolling your newsfeed,
you could go for a walk or have some food, these habits are good for your
health. As a result, it boost your community system which build your body
better for studying and working. In addition, staring at the screen for several
hours isn’t a good thing. Sitting down on the couch without any physical
movement isn’t either. So, this isn’t entirely the fault of an app that provides
entertainment. But somehow, it is the cause. So, it is your responsibility to
make sure that you give rest to your eyes and body while using TikTok for
several hours.
The second reason why you should not have this appication downloaded is its
long-lasting impact: changing human patterns of communication and living. An
idea of faster and shorter products on this platform might be a key role in the
application's success. However, it is hamful to our mental and physical health
more than you think. Short videos make you think it would take minutes, it
fasts. On the other hand, you end up spending hours to looking for more
videos because it seems small joys are not enough. This results in causing you
commonly chronic diseaseas such as depression and insomnia, or leading to
bad mindet.
Tiktok users mostly love the engaging feeling the platform give them. Inviduals,
from all group of ages, easily be a successul start-up on Titkok. The company
has developed its functions throughout the years. As of 2022, Tiktok is one of
the most advisable application to have a small business because of the
involvement and attention users pay. And due to its dramactic growth, users
may find it beneficial to sell products online. However, Tiktok's parent
company still label itself as a entertaining video application, meaning there is
no guarantee that Titkok will compensate for any of your loss, physical or
mental damage like a reputable trading company would do legally. In
conclusion, it is your own responsibility to prevent yourself from not only this
problems but also every negative impacts that Tiktok already have on your life.
