Welcome to Educ 2: Foundation of Special and Inclusive Education

To have a smooth flow of our classes, these are our following guidelines:

1. Since you are already in tertiary and in Cebu Normal University, my approach of handling my university classes are
totally different from how I handle my basic education students. In this course, expect to learn on your own or with your
groupmates, do outputs, and attend online meeting every end of the unit for wrapping up of the units and feedbacking
of your outputs. Online meeting and attendance is NOT a must. Your performance is reflected upon the outputs you
have submitted and the exams you will take.
2. Whatever modes of learning you have—whether online and electronic or printed module—you may form a group. To
those who would like to work alone, then skip this number and proceed to number 3. In this section, the guidelines in
forming a group are as follows:
a. If you, until the end of our semester, can:
i. communicate with your groupmates (via online, SMS, phone call)
ii. do your assigned tasks*
iii. journey with your mates through thick or thin*
then you are eligible to have a group. If this is difficult with you then you are not eligible to be in a team
and you need to work on your own (Thus, skip this and move to number 2).
*Note: if in the middle of the semester, and your members have been already lax and develop toxicity after
recurring reminders and lengthening of patience, you may re-group yourselves. Just do notify me so I can give
you the group registration link.
b. To those who are in groups, you are all considered in an online learning platform and must be responsible
of submitting on time. Late submissions will be assessed or evaluated after final exam only. Thus, this
means late submissions are still accepted but you can only know your score after the final exam.
c. The group must consist of two-three members only. Dili pwede four, mam? Dili.
d. Only one representative to submit your task even if a unit requires you to submit two or more tasks. This is
to speed-up the assessment and evaluation of your outputs.
e. Registration of groupings will only be until today only at the end of our class time unless with valid reasons.

3. To those who will be working alone, you may submit on time or submit on your free time. However, if submission is
not on the designated deadlines, then assessment and evaluation will also be done after the Final exam only.

4. For this day, all you need to do are:

a. if you will be working in groups (new/old), fill in the group registration link:
https://forms.gle/Dwawm4wcukHAGtjJ9
Only one representative will fill-up and submit the form
b. scan the syllabus and observe the following units, topics, activities, and other references
c. for topics or units you would like to include in our course, fill in suggestion form:
https://forms.gle/pFSvsZPamK65aXsf6
d. Read the CNU Vision and Mission statements then do Task 0: Reflection. If working in groups, one output
only to be submitted by one representative. Take note of the resources document as they serve as a guide
in making of this output (and all of your incoming outputs). Deadline is on February 3 Wednesday (for MW
class) and February 4 Thursday (for TTh class) exactly on the start of our class time.

5. For inquiries, you may call me via my WhatsApp and Messenger so I can answer you right away. However, this must
only be done within our class hours. Messaging me might be challenging for you because various institutions message
me through the aforementioned channels and I might not be able to address your concerns right away.

6. See you this next meeting!
