    23 Pioneer Regiment, based in Bicester, provides specialist artisan and infantry skills all to support military operations world

    wide. 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment provide ammunition technicians to all three services and are experts in the storage, maintenance and disposal of ammunition and explosives. The TA Regiments work with the Regular Regiments undertaking exactly the same tasks.

    There are five Logistic Support Regiments, two stationed in Gutersloh, Germany and three stationed in Abingdon, England providing variety in location and supporting the Army across the globe.

    Their role is to deliver combat supplies (water, fuel, rations, ammunition and other vital commodities) to fighting troops at the right time, in the right place.

    Logistic Support Regiments provide formation level support which includes intimate logistic support to troops on the ground. Force Support Regiments provide dedicated logistic support in the form of transport and supply functions to fighting troops on the ground. RLC make sure that every soldier deployed has the right amount of kit and equipment they need to maintain operations 24 hours a day.

    17 Port and Maritime Regiment, based at the military port at Marchwood, provide specialist maritime capabilities in addition to supply and transportation functions to support waterborne operations. In particular they work closely with the Marines.

    As a TA Chef, you could be called upon to join a team of chefs and deploy to a major formation or deploy singly to support a small group of soldiers on exercise anywhere in the world. You could find yourself setting up a field kitchen in a forest or preparing a formal regimental dinner for 150 diners.

    They also train and provide volunteer soldiers and officers to deploy on Operations.

    3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines, is an elite unit which deploys at short notice - operating all over the world, on land and at sea.

    3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines, is an elite unit which deploys at short notice, they will need to deliver supplies quickly.

    They also train together as one team to support fighting troops on the ground, all over the world.

    Territorial Army RLC soldiers and officers are employed on a voluntary basis.

    As a member of the Commando Logistic Regiment, Logistic Support Squadron, you will be right there with the Commandos everywhere they go, providing them with the vital supplies they need to be self-sufficient.
