Recruited and led a team of 6 multi-skilled staff to transform the e-commerce operation for Global Luggage
and launched a new brand and e-commerce function for xxxxxxx. Direct reporting line to MD.

 Developed the marketing strategies for Social Media, PPC and email marketing as well as KPIs for
performance monitoring.
 Utilised website analytics to improve website SEO.
 Created all products within the website CMS using Magento and continually monitored performance.
 Scheduled the marketing calendar and production of multi-channel campaigns.
 Led the development of the online customer experience with a focus on e-store functionality,
avoiding basket abandonment, driving repeat sales and optimising index and landing pages for
customer satisfaction, usability and revenue performance.
 Oversaw the entire customer fulfilment process from order to delivery.
 Recruited and developed staff into proactive customer facing consultants to secure increased

Key Achievement/Projects
 Performed in-depth industry insight on target consumer, competitors, user experiences to create 2
distinct channels both less reliant on the travel market which dramatically reduced the repeat
business average sales cycle of 3 years.
 Launched the charlesforlondon.com site and re-launched the globalluggage.co.uk site inclusive of
content preparation for over 2,000 SKUs.
 Produced the wireframes, sitemaps and development site guideline documents for the website which
saved £10k in outsourcing this work to a digital agency.
 Implemented visit capture and exit capture functionality on both sites, which helped acquire over
4,000 email addresses and a 12% increase in monthly revenue.
 Saved £85k negotiating with 3rd party suppliers on website content and marketing – photography,
postproduction agencies, marketing and CRM agencies.
 Oversaw the production of 4,000 images, product descriptions, blogs, e-zines, Google Adwords and
website banners.
 Transformed revenue from returning customers for Charles Ford by 704%.
 Increased online purchases of suitcases from 60% to 90% integrating Amazon as an online outlet.

 Drove online revenues and profitability from £13k per month to over £75k equating to 33% of overall
group turnover, an increase of 423% and net profit to 33%, previously 23%.
 Created group social media channels and generated 1,000 followers per offering - Instagram, Twitter

 Presented the business case to the board and developed the inaugural ‘interest free credit’ facility
after negotiating with numerous finance houses, which contributed to 7% of online turnover at

 Saved £4k on shipping negotiating with the CF logistics company for deliveries due to increased
