Repetition of some ideas.

Write about pollution

What are the kinds of pollution ?

Some answers are found in the same exam sheet,

Ahmed visited his friend in Abha . ( underline the verb)

Write the missing letter: fr_endship

Thus no creativeness, no innovation, minor effort is made

Cut and paste policy

Confusing questions, e.g. '_hat'.

Is the answer c , s , w

An unreasonable distribution of marks. Imagine 6 marks for 4 missing letters OR 2 for a 50-word dialogue.

Some exams include the marks. So, some pupils may try to get the pass mark and leave the rest of the questions.

If you want your exam to be comprehensive, you are advised to have a table that includes all the items taught to the students. That table can be made step by step for each unit until you finish the whole book. You can use it for the years to come.

The following is just an example:

UNIT GRAMMAR VOCABULARY GENERAL QUESTIONS TOPICS FOR READING & WRITING

Present perfect -affirmative -interrogative -negative

Use, race, play, pray, look, read, make, see, etc.

Have you Water, etc. seen? Main ideas. Where have they been?

Do the same with the other units, and in your exam take something from each column. In this way, you can cover a great deal of the syllabus.
