For anyone wondering, Blockhead and conehead are terms used to describe the skull shape of golden retrievers. This baby is a blockhead but to anyone unfamiliar, it sounds like the reddit op is asking if this puppy is going to be an idiot.

Goldens have two main head types, Block and Cone (sometimes called slender but I digress). Blockheads have the big blocky heads and coneheads are more pointy. Two examples below.

As far as I'm aware, its just an aesthetic thing and has no impact on their health.

I am Ahmed, I live with my family of 7 in harsh conditions that are beyond our ability to bear. We live in a dilapidated tent that provides us with no protection from the harsh winter cold, and as winter approaches, we find ourselves unable to face these conditions without help.

My brother and his wife live with us, and his wife is about to give birth. In the difficult circumstances we are going through, the child will not be able to bear living in these bad conditions and will not be able to bear the bitter cold.

Our goal from this campaign is to raise money to renew the tent that shelters us, buy clothes to protect our children from the harsh cold, in addition to providing the necessary amount to enable us to escape this hell that threatens our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

Every day that passes makes our situation more difficult, and we live in constant fear of losing a family member to the cold and hunger. We are trying with all our might to keep those who remain alive, and we hope to find among you someone who will extend a helping hand.

So rn the US government is starting to defund the National Parks Service, and while this is a bad thing largely because it's mainly being done to open up the possibility of oil drilling in a lot of those areas, I think it also needs to be said that no the National Parks Service was not just there to "protect natural wonders" or whatever. It was there because a lot of those places are incredibly important land to a lot of Indigenous Peoples and if you give it special status that means you can't live on it you can make the natives leave easier because they get arrested if they don't. Like I am very much not in favor of this change as it is being done but I don't think we should respond to it with wholehearted praise of the National Parks System either. Please know the history of the land you live on and visit.

The problem here is not that the national parks service is losing funding, it was a tool of ethnic cleansing, forced removal, and genocide from its inception. It deserves to be talked about as such. The problem here is that that land still does not belong to the native people who inhabited it for thousands of years before colonial intervention. We need to protest the area being claimed by companies that want to exploit their natural resources, and get it back in the hands of the people who once and always should've owned it. We should not let things go back to what they were like under the current National Parks System.

I am the main provider for two disabled roommates while being disabled myself. One of my roommates has cancer, both have been in and out of the hospital this month. With so much time spent at the hospital, my job not allowing the usage of public wifi, and constantly needing to do chores+caretaking, I've barely been able to work this month.

I am exhausted, drowning in expenses, and no longer holding up mentally.

Right now, we need about $1,500 to just be able to catch up and get necessities while also being able to pay rent. Our rent is due on the 1st with no grace period.
