If you are trying to overcome a fear of spiders I can’t recommend this TikTok enough. They never post jump scares and always put warnings if a spider moves fast in a video. All of the videos are super cute and portray the spiders in a very positive and non threatening manner. 11/10 would recommend.

the nether is terrifying because it is hell and monsters live there who want to hurt you. however, it gets even more terrifying when you think about Intentional Game Design. a world where you'll die if you try to sleep. you could get stuck there, growing wearier and wearier, until your eyes start to blur with the waves of heat rising from the earth. when you cave in and lay your head to rest the ground will explode. the souls trapped in the dirt will scream with you. you will never be heard. this world will rip you apart for the crime of being human. you cannot win. you cannot rest now. there are always monsters nearby.
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE MONSTERS NEARBY BUT THE CURSE DOES NOT APPLY to the baby ghast that you can scoop into your arms and take with you to the beautiful heavens above. you can sleep next to a ghast because it is not a monster, the universe tried to trick it into becoming one. the world tried to rip it apart for the crime of being free.

iii wanna talk about the school spirits costumes for just a second. inspired by this scene possibly spoilers idk i watched it all real fast so all episodes are one in my brain
normally costume conversations are about the detail, the little things. i just want to talk about the simplicity of them. most of the costumes are mainly 3-4 pieces. basic, off the rack, style pieces.
Rhonda - shes got a black turtleneck. a black hat. striped pants, but thats it!! thats the costume! but because that is such a renown silhouette and style, you can immediately tell SO MUCH not just in what time shes from but her personality! artsy grumpy nerd.
Charley - pure 90s with the oversized tshirt with stripes, the specific jeans that sit and together create the most 90s causal fit i have ever seen outside of full house.
Wally and the damn sweat set. its just a sweat set. theres nothing else to it! just what goes underneath his football uniform. its one of the simpliest costumes ever, yet it gets the point across perfectly. the cut sleves are invocative of the 80s. the fact that hes in a sweat set alone just screams jock.
but the way he wears it ends up emphasizing the soft-ness his character has grown to have over time.
for charley the classic 90-s silhouette ends up being metaphorical for his ability to eventually take up space in death, to be himself, entirely.
for rhonda, the her artistry really comes out. we see her learn that she can maybe go back to music, that maybe it didn't encompass everything she hated. maybe its part of her just as much as she wishes it was.
i love costume design. might make an actual esasy on this (5 pages single spaced type essay) but this would be the core of the thesis <33
