A friend threatened me to repost so I will!
Basically, there r tons of fake asses on tumblr who just want comments and followers, so someone started this to see who's actually a good friend. Answering Prompt #114: The Music Prompt

Note: I already tagged them in the writing community I’m in and I don’t know how to like, cross post but this is just so that way they don’t get the notification again
Whenever I think of “theme” music, I think of the kind of song that would play when a person walks onstage for their award- the song that encapsulates them perfectly in one brief moment.
I also think about how, in movies, composers will give characters little themes and motifs that appear throughout the film (off the top of my head, things like Inside Out’s piano part and First Flight from How To Train Your Dragon).
So, like any person would do, I’m answering for both! I hope you enjoy my little music analysis for each of my characters! (This is a long one, so if you like reading, you’re in luck).
Another redraw! The old one’s from May 2, 2024. This one’s from today (March 25, 2025).
I didn’t want to make a one-to-one replica, because the original drawing was meant to be a piece that pushed my limits.
At the time, one of my biggest issues was full body drawings (and I still struggle with proportions and shape), so I decided this time around to try to tackle a perspective shot! Also, oddly enough, shoelaces have only been a recent development too.
Anyways, this was a heck of a lot of fun! I totally recommend redrawing things! It’s an addicting way to get a confidence boost.
In One Ear, Out the Other (Roxanne’s Reaction to Flint’s Stupidity)
I decided to take this time to try to tackle Roxanne’s ability for her skin to light up! Turns out, it’s incredibly challenging, especially since Roxanne is a darker skinned character. I don’t want to gain a glow effect but sacrifice her actual appearance in the process.
This might take a bit more playing around (especially factoring in how it looks in a different background or environment altogether), but I think I reached a good point so far! Her skin without any of the lighting effects on it is pictured on the right for reference. I think what helps it is the fact that the light on her skin itself isn’t entirely vibrant- that the variety in shade helps showcase that her skin is darker underneath it.
