At first, I was sharing my campaign link to get the price of my destroyed house and resettle, but this is frankly difficult. So, I am now posting to collect the rent, which is only $400 a month. But in light of these conditions and after the crossing has been closed for more than 10 days, not a cup of water has entered Gaza. Therefore, I decided to publish another post to collect some money to buy some basic necessities, which have become very expensive due to the closure of the crossings. Above is Mahmoud's wife, Nour, and their children, Rital, Layan and Mohammed who were quickly evacuated to Turkey, after their home was bombed and all sustained injuries. Unfortunately, Nour's brother-in-law died from his injuries and to add insult to injury, Mahmoud was forcibly returned to Gaza by Israeli soldiers and is now separated from his wife and children.

In order to cover medical costs and help Mahmoud reunite with his family, they need to raise £14,000, so far they have raised £5,692, which isn't even half of the cost they all need to live.

Also There is no gas here so we return to cook through fire and there is no enough wood for burning

I'm Areej I was an English teacher before war and everything change after October 7. Also I'm a creative writer at we are not numbers.

Also I am a mother of three children. We have lived through the war for a year and a half, and we have lost everything we own. My husband is a man who did not work before the war and even now. And I lost my job in teaching because of the current situation, the school was destroyed and many of my poor students was died by the missiles 😭

So i did not have a breadwinner or any source of income . But I didn't give up to teach so I volunteered to teach some students near my camp in IBM Rushed school. There where many family were displaced from the north of Gaza. Actually it was a good chance for me to know more people and to try to engage students with English after this bad war. I held many activities with the for fun and learning and they were happy for this great chance so I hope to return to have my project to enable more students to engage with my voluntury work. I hope you help me and understand my holy target for helping students in their education. 🙏🙏🙌💯

Today, after the war, the truce has entered its first phase in Gaza, and I now live in a tent and do not have a house after it was destroyed by missiles. I now ask you to help me rebuild my house. This war wasn't easy at all it has taken many friends at work, students and some of my colleagues at the university. They are almost ten souls I won't never forget . Yousif, his parents, and his sister have made the decision to evacuate Sudan after losing their loved ones, their sense of security, and having their home destroyed all because of the greed of army generals and countries seeking foregin interests in Sudan.

Yousif has been trying to secure the funds they need to rebuild their lives, but as a student and the sole provider of his family, he cannot afford the costs on his own. Yousif and his family are seeking your support to help afford travel, living expenses, and allow Yousif to continue his education so he can obtain his degree and find employment to support his family. The costs of travel, living accommodations, and educational expenses will cost a total of $15,000.

Yousif's campaign was started in June, and in two months, only $138 has been raised. We cannot sit by and allow his campaign to stagnate any further. Every day that passes without any progress towards their goal is another day Yousif and his family have to spend living in danger and fear.

You might see fundraising posts with thousands of notes on your dash daily and think to yourself "this person must be doing fine!"

I wish that were true. I saw a post earlier referring to people with fundraisers as "those fortunate enough to have internet clout" but unfortunately internet clout is not a currency that can buy food and other necessities. It's only a testament to how much effort that person spends desperately networking in order to make ends meet, and often not succeeding at that. These people do not have an advantage.

I spotlight for @dr-anas96 and his posts consistently get a lot of notes. He's vetted here.

And where does that get him?
