hiya! if you’re seeing this it’s my birthday and i ended up deciding to let this post instead of deleting it from the schedule! yipee
i’d like to let you know that i have a zine — when i first started making it, i intended to just put it out wherever i went and it would just be up to luck if someone got a copy. however, i really enjoy sharing what i create so i thought i’d make it more accessible
introducing: I Went Out in Public & All I Got Was This Random Zine
i don’t mass produce, they’re all once and done designs. they don’t even have a particular theme — some are informative, some are motivational, some are just art pieces.
i plan on selling them for $2 - this is pretty much just to cover the postage fee and give me the smallest profit. i’ll be sticking to US only until i feel confident with shipping, sorry!

The creator of these images is Matt Bernstein, one of my favorite educators online -- he makes incredibly clear, forceful collections of information like this one. He's queer, has fantastic nails, and has done a lot of education recently from his perspective as a Jewish person on why supporting Palestine is so important. The argument against us like "you don't want polyamory 😡😤😡 you want a SOCIETY where you're ALLOWED to have EXTREMELY INTIMATE FRIENDSHIPS" was always really funny to me because

  1. I never had an intimate friend I didn't want to make out with
  2. ... so.. since we don't have that society/culture... and if those in our friendship circle aren't willing to help us forge that... seems like polyamory would be a decent substitute, right? A reasonable way to meet our emotional needs given the context we find ourselves rather than some hypothetical ideal, yeah?

It really says something that a lot of monogamous people consider polyamorous and aromantic to be "opposites" but every polyam person I know took one look at aromantics and said "they're just like me for real"
