The department of rodent catcher/detector safety is happy to assist.
We at TDORCS have been appointed by the office of detection legality has to supervise all rodent-related detecting and catching. Our role is simply to ensure the safety of our population (for example by marking Schrödinger’s rats as unsafe). We are also working on a list of all detective forces regarding the rats to ensure the safety of all rodents and rodent catchers/detectors.
It is however important to mention that we require every single rodent catcher/detector to provide proof if the necessary legal documents. A detector should always have their legal papers with them. If this is not the case we will be able to assist by creating the necessary documents. This will however require the answering to the following questions:
- What is your blog’s name? (for example “@rodent-detector”)
- What rodent type(s) do you detect/catch? (for example “only rats”)
- What is your species? (for example “detector”)
- Do you catch or detect? (for example “both”)
- Are you lethal to found rodents? (for example “yes”)
- What color should your documents have? (for example “FF1A00”)
- Do you have a motive to catch/detect? (for example “hunger”)
- Optional: What are your pronouns? (for example “they/them”)
- Optional: If you have a other blogs, what’s their name? (for example “main blog: @thisisaratname”)
- Optional: Do you think rodents are superior to humans? (for example “yes”)
- Please also submit your blog’s profile picture.
We will then fill out the form for you. After that, you receive the documents and are now able to legally detect/catch rodents.

So it’s really come to this. I never thought I’d see the day that war came to the doorstep of my people, waged on the soil of my home.
War will always be a thing I strive to avoid. But if you bring strife to my kingdom, I will fight for my people until I draw my last breath.
I AM my people. I am defined by my role as the guiding light of the rat kingdom, and in turn, they are defined by me. We are inseparable. Thus, challenging my rule means threatening my people. I fight not for honor, but for those loyal to me.
As for your people, detector, I have seen a level of blind faith from them. We personally have clashed on the occasion before, and I notice that your followers comment only on you. They are single minded in their devotion. It is a flawed, one dimensional kind of loyalty. This is an overgeneralization, of course, and it does not hold true to all of your people. But if they are seeing this, I encourage them to question their loyalties. Time encourages a sunk cost fallacy in the form of trust.
I am acutely aware that I took some time to make this declaration. I spent the time gathering my forces, making alliances, preparing for war.
We are very clearly outnumbered in this war. It is fortunate for me then, that my court is so loyal. Those by my side will stay. Especially the Prince, The hound, @lichenypetrichor, who would definitely never betray me.
I propose we use the tag “#rat war” for anything related to this, so the main combatants can follow it, and stay updated on the matters.

The original is within our cohorts, and their work is a valuable asset to the kingdom. The rest are a fanbase.
I am not too proud to say I am jealous of the attention. It feels as though rat detector is treated as the official rat blog to reference, as a sort of centerpoint of Ratblr, which was the role that I intended to fill when I created this blog.
I’ve only been here a little more than a year. Yet I have dethroned much of the old blood. I have brought war, blood, and darkened faith to a community that has been surged.
Twice have I seemingly birthed a tide of detectors. Once first of other animals and objects, and now, an army of those who use my name as reverence.
My army only grows, and with it too comes the drums of war. They beat restlessly as the cries of my mutuals are brought through with thunder and lightning.
I am but a mortal, elevated to the reverence of a god. What am I to do with such power?
