i lowkey hate Jinx’s characterisation in s2. she was a completely different person in s1, and you’re telling me all her changes happened in such a short time because of some random kid and 2x speed reconnecting with her inner child bullshit? after she literally chose to metaphorically kill that inner child at the end of s1?? not to mention the absolute absurdity of Zaun collectively siding with her after she nuked the council. as if absolutely nobody (except the obvious Bad GuysTM) thought that maybe handing Jinx over could stop Piltover from gassing and harassing them. bruh.

but actually, my biggest issue rn is how forced timebomb feels because of that. look, i’ve always been a massive Ekko stan and i’ve rewatched the time bomb scene from s1 more times than i can count and i think these two have mind-blowing chemistry. but seeing s2 brush over all that tension between Jinx and Ekko only to make Ekko a brainless fool crushing on the pathetically tragic version of Jinx (who conveniently hasn’t done anything horrific on-screen in s2, so that we can forget her s1 crimes) is soooo disappointing. i want to enjoy timebomb like i did in s1, but what it has turned into feels so rushed and empty

Why did you decide that your art account and fandom account should be separate? No pressure.

Hi

Well, that's simply bc I know that a lot of people who follow someone for art work can be annoyed when the artist posts a lot of shitposts and other posts that aren't arts, bc they want only to see them. So I just think it's more convenient to just separate them

But I mean, I could also post the same arts here if you think I should

it's funny how catra stans say that “you can't handle complex realistic victims” and “if adora was abused by catra, why wasn't she scared?” in the same breath.

because first of all, she was scared of catra. she has been shown to be scared of catra plenty of times. y'all just watched the show with your eyes closed.

and secondly, a person doesn't have to be visibly scared of their abuser all the time to be acknowledged as a victim. it's a lot more complex than that.

heck, catra didn't seem scared of shadow weaver most of the time. she was often pretty straightforward about her hatred towards shadow weaver. she openly insulted and talked back to shadow weaver.

and yet y'all have no problem believing that she's a victim of abuse. because she is.

and it's the same with adora. just because she has stood up to catra or expressed anger towards catra, doesn't mean that she's suddenly not a victim.

stop picking and choosing who gets to be a realistic depiction of an abuse victim.

From Ambessa it was I sent you away because “You weakened me.” From Jayce it was “Nothing feels impossible with you” and “You were always right.”

From a mother who always saw her as weak to a man who affirmed that her unique strengths were valuable. Of course Mel fell in love.
