Help is always needed. Please help a Palestinan family survive
The last round has been completed, and I was able to help Shimaa and send her 300, thank you to everyone who contributed. I was happy when Shimaa texted me that she was able to receive the funds. But help is still needed and we must start the next round. There are forced evacuations and bombings that everyone is facing every day and it makes things very dangerous and this family needs help with money on hand to be able to survive so they can have food and try to maintain a shelter. I know its a bi week right now. Friday is a couple days away which is when people get paid. So if you have anything extra to spare please send it to the link provided below. @im-smart-i-swear is also still doing commissions in exchange of proof of your help.. If you don't, please at least share so that this can reach more people. Thank you
GOAL: 0/350
Hello friends, thank God the ceasefire in Gaza has been reached, but I have not collected enough money to get out of Gaza. Please donate to me, even if it is a small amount. Every little amount helps us get out of Gaza.

Caption: [A stitch with user @/sapphicyuji. The text on screen reads, " "you can't misgender cis people!", you have never had your gender questioned outside of your transness and it shows. sincerely, a trans poc".
I'm actually super glad we're having a conversation about this. The masculinization of black and brown women, because for years I felt like I endured this unique form of trauma until I realized other people went through the same thing too. And if there's one thing that I'd like to add to the conversation, there seems to be this misconception that this is something that starts at puberty. Like boys tell you you look like a man to hurt your feeling when that's so far from the case.
The first time I was purposefully misgendered was in kindergarten. I was constantly referred to by the masculine variant of my name, I was chased out of the women's restroom, and I had grown adults questioning what my biological sex was before I even knew what the difference was. And those behaviors persisted into adulthood because now if I present as anything less than 100% feminine, people will either compare me to men or animals.
And for myself and for many other brown and black women this is a life long act deliberately intended to humiliate, shame, and other us for the features we were naturally born with and I'm glad we're having a discussion on how harmful it actually is.]
This is really important, a lot of white trans people don't seem to understand that misgendering doesn't only occur because of transphobia.
A full decade before I started identifying as a non-binary woman, I had white kids misgendering me and calling me a man or a boy because as a brown girl I didn't fit their idea of what a woman or girl is supposed to be.
European standards of beauty and femininity often lead to women and girls of colour being viewed as "too masculine" and often lead to misgendering.
And I think that the reason that white trans people refuse to acknowledge or accept this is because they don't think and/or care about the experiences of women and girls of colour.
I also think that there's an idea among white trans people that misgendering is an experience that somehow belongs to the trans community, and by saying that cis women of colour get misgendered, we are saying that trans people don't. But it doesn't belong to you. And we aren't saying that.
An important part of recognizing that trans women of colour experience higher rates of transphobia and misgendering is recognizing that they are misgendered both for being trans and for being women of colour. Which in turn requires recognizing that women of colour, including cis women, are often misgendered for their race and ethnic features.
No one is trying to take the experience of being misgendered away from you, or claim that you don't experience it. It's just that racialized women experience misgendering for our race too.
not what I meant and you definitely missed my point. those terms are useful in identifying who is the target of transmisogyny, which tme people are not!
what I'm describing that cis women of colour experience is racism, which often intersects with transmisogyny but isn't the same thing
sorry but "everyone suffers from transmisogyny" is a gross oversimplification. transmisogyny might impact everyone, but it does the greatest harm to transfems, it can kill them, so don't tell me it isn't useful to distinguish between tme and tma people
don't use women of colour and the racism we deal with as an excuse to criticize the language that transfems use to identify and describe transmisogyny
*guy who is very clearly going through. something* oh yknow. just a little tired haha
starting tomorrow i will be a real person in this world
oh! i forgot to do this. okay starting tomorrow i will be a real person in this world and i actually seriously genuinely properly truly mean it this time
um. well
would you still love me if i was a cautionary tale
Please Give me your attention 💔

speaking to you with a heavy and painful heart. I am sorry that I had to ask for help from you, but what we are living is what pushed me to do this.
a 31-year-old living amidst the war in Gaza, a place deeply affected by conflict and hardship. I hold a Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences , I graduated with very good But Unfortunately, I did not get a job opportunity.
I am father to four beautiful children, My family consists of 6 individuals, My father , mother , Three girls and Three boys .
Before the outbreak of war, my family and I had a comfortable life in our beautiful home filled with cherished memories. However, since the conflict began, our lives have been turned upside down. We now find ourselves living in a small tent, exposed to the harsh elements and constant threat of violence.
Our home, which once embraced us, is now destroyed It became a remembrance
👉 Watch the video
A picture of me and my family in front of our destroyed house.
Our house was bombed in the 2008 escalation and we built it, and also in the 2014 escalation the house was destroyed again and we rebuilt it, and in this 2023/2024 war the house was also destroyed.
Every time we start again, the Israeli occupation destroys us again
Life is unbearable. It has become hell for us. destruction, no education, no future
We can't stand it anymore
The situation here is dire. Food and basic necessities are scarce, and famine and malnutrition have become rampant. Our lives are hanging by a thread, and we fear for the safety and well-being of our children every single day.
The cost of living here has become extremely high. All of our resources are going towards securing food and trying to escape from disaster, desperately seeking a lifeline.
We are yearning to escape this nightmare and rebuild our lives in a safe place.
However, the cost of traveling to a safer area was beyond our means.
Each ticket cost $5000 per person,
a sum that was impossible for us to bear. Now, the border crossing is closed, and things continue to worsen.
We want to collect donations to leave Gaza if the crossing opens
That's why I am reaching out to you, dear friends. Your generosity and compassion can make all the difference for me and my family. Your donations will enable us to flee this war-torn region and start anew, away from the horrors of conflict and instability.
Please, consider lending us a helping hand. Your support could mean the world to us and ensure the safety and future of my beloved family..
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering our plea.

Was Gaza ever a trend?
Right now, the whole world is silent about what’s happening in Gaza. No one’s talking. No one’s sharing the news.
The occupation is committing unspeakable massacres, forcing thousands into displacement again.
But no one is saying a word.
Even donation posts aren’t getting reach. No one’s sharing, no one’s helping.
Islam and his family were forced into displacement from their tent. They have nowhere to go. His elderly grandfather and his mother, who is battling cancer, have no shelter in the cold and rain.
The last donation was five days ago.
Don’t forget Gaza. The genocide is back.. worse than before.
shayma escaped gaza before the crossing closed and has been struggling to care for her family of 16 in egypt. rent is skyrocketing, and now her brother needs help funding his master's degree. she just lost her childhood friend and her friend's family, she needs support right now.
she didn't ask me to post this, i just wanna show her there's still people out there who care. please help her
🚨🚨🚨LESS THAN 100 NEEDED TO REACH NEXT GOAL🚨🚨🚨
Hello everyone, I am campaigning for Shimaa and her family and our goal has gotten closer. We are now less than 100 dollars from the goal of 350, so if 10 people can send ten dollars today (03/20/2025) we're good and I can have the money to her tomorrow. Or 20 people sending 5 is also an option so say you have 5 and you send, maybe you can get a friend with another 5 to match you and the train keeps going. We are so close to the goal we just need a little more and then we are good. Things weren't great before but the ceasefire being violated means that things are much worse and I just want to help in the best way I can and this seems to be the best way. I am also working with @im-smart-i-swear who is offering commissions in exchange for your help. If you can't give please reblog and share even if you've seen another post for this campaign. I know it can be reached today with the help of others so please don't be afraid to reblog and share
GOAL: 255/350
🚨🚨🚨If 9 people send ten dollars we'll meet out goal today🚨🚨🚨
Thank you to the lovely person who donated 10 you got us closer to our goal. And now if 9 people send ten dollars we'll hit our goal today. We are so close and with the help of a few people I will be able to send Shimaa her money. Please continue to reblog and share if you can't contribute as we need as many people as possible to see so that we can meet the goal.
GOAL: 265/350
NOW WE NEED 8 PEOPLE TO SEND 10. WE ARE NOW AT 275, IF A FEW PEOPLE SEND TEN DOLLARS WE'RE GOOD. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE PLEASE SHARE SO THAT WE CAN REACH THE GOAL
GOAL: 275/350
GOAL: 295/350
We are so close to our next goal, please don't be afraid to help and share.
We have gotten a couple donations since our last post and our goal is even closer than it was before. With the help of a few people we can hit the goal and I can send money to Shimaa and her family. Things right now in Palestine are dangerous and everyone needs help. With the ceasefire having been violated things went firm bad to worse. And luckily contributions have picked up after a drought of sorts. Also @im-smart-i-swear is still doing commissions in exchange for proof of help (their art is depicted here). With Your help you'd be helping multiple people be able to survive and get items that they need
I'm not writing these words... I'm bleeding them, screaming them, holding on to them as if they're the last lifeline before everything else sinks. My child is lying in front of me now, his tiny body connected to wires, his eyes half-open as if begging for life, as if pleading for my help... But I have nothing but tears, nothing but pain, nothing but this last plea!
Can you imagine the meaning of these words? Can you imagine being told that your child's life is just a number on a bill? Being given a deadline to say goodbye as if his death is inevitable, for no reason other than that I'm poor?!
I haven't slept in days. I watch his chest rise and fall with difficulty, counting his breaths as if I'm saying goodbye to each one, and waiting... Will this be my last? Will I be shocked now? Will everything stop while I stand helpless?
Imagine holding your child in your arms, feeling their warmth, hearing their weak heartbeat… but knowing that you may only be hours, or maybe minutes, away from losing them. Imagine hearing their breathing as they slowly die, and you don't even have the power to scream to save them!
I'm not asking for much… I just ask for my child to live! To see him run, to hear his laughter again, to feel his tiny arms wrapped around me, instead of holding his body in my arms!

Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
- $5 may seem small, but for us, it’s a little relief, a moment of comfort, and a reminder that kindness still exists. ❤️
- Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.

Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️
As of 3/21/2025, the campaign is at $6,040 out of $90,000. It was last donated to 4 hours ago as I write this.

The Occupation has systematically destroyed every social infrastructure that makes civil society possible, whether it be healthcare, food systems, or education. They've targeted schools, hospitals, businesses, and every person who supports their community through their profession.
Rana and Ahmed (@ranafam2) are educators from Khan Younis, with Rana as a statistics professor at the Islamic University of Gaza and Ahmed as the principal of his school: both institutions have now been destroyed.
Palestinians have survived occupation for well over a century now, and they will remain steadfast, but they need your support.
Even with the ceasefire, resources are still limited and expensive. The weekly allowance for basic provisions like baby formula and flour is about $1000. Rana is also anticipating additional costs for baby formula, clothes, and natal care as she's eight months pregnant and expecting soon.
Finally with the ceasefire, Rana is hoping to evacuate with her family altogether. The cost of evacuation per person ranges from $5000 to $7000. If Rana gives birth before she can evacuate, that puts the total anticipated cost at $49,000 (5 children, 2 adults).
As of today (1/23), we are at:
$8185/$100,000
$0/$1500 <- Weekly provisions
$0/$2400 <- Daily goal to reach $49,000 in three weeks
Donate here.
I know these are overwhelming numbers, but if every person who shared this post donated $5, we can get them to safety.
