You Can't Touch This!

Well, the momentous occasion has come and gone. The MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice Concert was SWEET! Ladies and gentlemen, this is my Smokin' Hot husband!

The concert was a blast. I barely could get in any time with my hot husband because everybody and their dog had to get pictures of him in his "Hammer Pants". My mom made the pants because apparently they don't make them any more. Someone at the concert asked him, "Where did you get those awesome pants." To which my smokin' hot husband (Rob) replied, "You have to custom make this sh**, you can't find this kind of handmade quality on any shelf."

So anyway, a fully-detailed critique will follow shortly when my busy, but incredibly hot husband gets around to it. Visit Back tomorrow for all of the scathing details!

Joy School

Just out of curiosity, has anyone had any experiences with Joy School . . . good or bad . . .? I put Jaxon in preschool when he was 3, then again when he turned 4. But with Kenadee, I don't think I want to put her in until she is 4. I don't really know much about Joy School, besides what I have read on the internet, and I just wondered what other people thought. I would appreciate any input or suggestions anyone has!!

Jaxon was playing at his cousins house, I was folding clothes, and Callie and Kenadee were napping . . . or so I thought.

Thank goodness for magic eraser!

Love you Kenadee!

We decided to start Kenadee in dance classes when she turned 3. She has only been two times, but she LOVES it! She does such a good job with the leaps and twirls. It is so cute!

Remember leg warmers?? Leann found these and gave them to Kenadee for her birthday. She also gave her the cute silver skirt she's wearing in the top picture and some ballet shoes. Leann was awesome to make Kenadee a little barbie birthday cake, and have us over for a birthday dinner on Sunday. Kenadee loved being the center of attention and being spoiled by her "grammy and papa". Thanks guys!!

This is another skirt she got for her birthday, and the bottom picture is her on her first day of dance class.

We have had so much sickness at our house the past few weeks. It seemed like as soon as one kid got better, another got sick. At one point, Callie broke out in an awful rash. The doc thinks it was a reaction from the amoxicillan she took. But I just had to post some pictures so you could see how bad she looked. To look at her, you'd think she was miserable. But she was surprisingly smiley and happy. Rob kept calling her "little rashy". He's such a butt . . .

And then just a little shout out to Jaxon, since he kind of got left out of this post. The other day, I went to get some meat out of the freezer to thaw, and I found a toy motorcycle frozen in some water inside of a purple bowl. When I asked Jaxon about it, he said that he did it because he wanted to smash it with a hammer when it was frozen. Weird?? I asked Rob if he thought it was weird, and he said he used to do stuff like that all the time when he was a kid. At the very least, I can say my child is creative!

Happy Birthday Kenadee!

Happy Birthday Kenadee! I can't believe you're three! I feel so bad, because for the past several nights, we have all been sick with fevers, coughs, runny noses, etc, etc. You seem to be better, but I didn't feel like we could invite people over with dad still sick. So we had to cancel your birthday party today. You have been counting down the days until your birthday for the past 2 weeks. So to TRY to make it up to you, I decided to take you to lunch. After we got done eating, you said to me, "That was so fun! Can we go to my party now?" It made me so sad, because you just don't understand. So I called "Grandma Nancy", and she decided to drive over and meet us so that you could at least open some more presents. So you and I went to Old Navy and got you a new outfit, and then we met grandma and grandpa in the courtyard. They brought you a little Tinkerbell cake, and some fun presents to open. It just made your day!

Dad and I got you a new bike for your birthday. You were so excited when you got it. All you have wanted to do is be outside riding it. The weather just isn't cooperating today - it is windy and rainy. Good thing we have lots of tile for you to ride around on in the house :)

This is you (in Jax's spiderman pajama's) with your new bike.

You modeling your new bike helmet/elbow pads with your Tinkerbell cake from grandma.

Blowing out your candles

We are so happy to have you as a part of our family! You are such a sweet girl, always telling people "you are beautiful", or "you are my best friend", or "you are an angel". We love you so much, Kenadee!! Happy Birthday!!
