Little Callie had a bad accident last week. She was napping, and rolled off the bed. She landed face first on Rob's computer charger. Her little nose bled for at least an hour, and her mouth swelled up to look like a duck bill. Her teeth went through her lip, and she was left with a HUGE bruise by her nose and a black eye. I was a little nervous to take her in to the doctor because the last time we were there was with her broken arm. But I took her in anyway, and he said her nose was most likely broken, but that there wasn't much to do because it looked like it was healing pretty straight. As long as she can breath out of both sides, she should be fine. I snapped a few pictures, but they don't do her justice...she looked awful! She was a little trooper, though, and didn't complain at all.
Rob got a wild hair about a month ago, and replaced the tile in our entry and hall ways with wood floor. It was a nightmare!! But it sure looks good now. I'm sure if he'd realized just how much work it was gonna be, he wouldn't have done it.
I didn't get a "before" shot, but here are some "during" and an "after" ones.
We took our first trip out to the lake a couple of weeks ago. It was beautiful! Hopefully we can take a few more out this summer. We might be selling our boat at the end of the summer, so we need to get as much use out of it as we can!
Of course little Blakester had a blow-out diaper right when we got there. Thankfully the people we went with were a little more prepared that I was and had a t-shirt I could put him in.
I can't believe there are only like 6 more weeks left until school starts! Time is going by way too fast!
